Post-Breakfast Ride-Out from Glasson Dock

A scenic ride over the Trough of Bowland then heading towards Grassington before wending north through Wharefedale. 

A refreshment stop is planned in Kettlewell or Hawes where we can indulge in ice cream or tea/coffee, depending on the weather.

We will then head towards Hawes and over Buttertubs Pass, through to Kirkby Stephen.  From there we will make our way back to Kendal Leisure Centre via Tebay and Beck Foot.

There will be a mix of roads no doubt familiar to most, but there will be some short sections on narrower roads.  

The route is just under 120 miles and should take between 3½ and 4 hours plus a stop of 30-40 minutes.
