SATURDAY Full Day Ride Out open to Members.

A Full Day ride out with lunch & coffee/cake/ice creams along the route

Weather & Ride Leader availability dependant.

Middleton, Stanhope, Alston etc led by Mark Held

08:45 for 09:00 start - Costa Morrisons Kendal

"The route goes via Tebay and from there we’ll take small back roads to Brough.  From Brough we’ll head over to Middleton in Teesdale and have a short break. From Middleton, we ride to Stanhope and then up Weardale to Alston.  We’ll have a lunch stop at the Nook just north of Alston and then head over Hartside Pass to Penrith.   From Penrith, we’ll follow the A6 south and if the weather is good, we’ll stop at Abbot Lodge farm for an ice cream.   Then back down the A6 to Kendal.  The route is pretty straight forward and we’ll cover about 125 miles."
