Saturday Ride Out

An intermediate paced ride-out that will cover A and B roads and single tracks so a nice variety to test our skills...

From Staveley we head towards  Sedbergh, Hawes, etc.. We stop at the latter for breakfast then mosey down Wensleydale and on towards Masham for a brief stop. Next over the moorland tops towards Pateley Bridge hugging a few reservoirs en route. Grassington and Kettlewell follow as we head up Wharfedale for another stop-off. Plenty of tea and ice cream shops at Kettlewell to test our resolve. A filling station is on hand if you need to top up and public loos to boot. Then on the final leg of our odyssey further up Wharfedale through Yockenthwaite and (steep climb) over to Hawes (sharp decent) before returning to Kendal (Morrisons) at around 4.30 to 5.00. All-in-all, 130 miles of all sorts  with glorious scenery (you can permit yourself an occasional glance) and good company along the way. See ya there.

P.S. Please arrive fully tanked and with empty bladder. 08:45am briefing for 9am departure sharp.
