Saturday Yorkshire Ride on 26th August

As it is a Bank Holiday weekend and the Lakes are going to be full of numpties & other tourists, I have decided to avoid this area. As such, I am leading a ride out in to the West Yorkshire moors & valleys.

We will be starting by the petrol station at Morrisons in Kendal. We will then head up over Buttertubs and on to Reeth for breakfast.

We will then head up through Stanhope & Blanchland and on to Hexham, where we will grab a spot of lunch and maybe a bit of a stroll round the town.

After this, we will head to Alston, over Hartside and down to Lowther Castle for a final rest stop & refreshments.

I will end the ride here as I need to be back for visiting friends for the evening (yes, I do have them).
