About the event
A scenic tour of the Yorkshire Dales at an easy pace, predominantly on B roads and country lanes.
Suitable for those just emerging from winter hibernation and still a little rusty, and Associates are welcome with Observer’s consent.
Leaving Wilf’s at 11am, we’ll skirt north of Kendal to Tebay, Ravenstonedale, Nateby, and down beautiful Swaledale to a coffee/cake/ice cream stop in Reeth. Then we’ll follow the back lanes along Wensleydale to Hawes, before taking the fabulous B6255 past Ribblehead to finish at Seasons Bakery in Ingleton.
Distance is 90 miles, and total time including stops will be about 4 hours.
